Oh the time is 5:30pm and we are 2100 feet above sea level.

So I lost my Nixon watch. That really sucked. It was a Player model with a plaid face. I have never seen another like it. I loved that watch. One time in Pacific Beach i was driving along and some girl was like " I like your watch " so I think after that I REALLY REALLY liked my watch. I have no idea where it went. I think it might be at the bottom of Lake Tahoe.

So after much research I went and dropped $140 bucks on this. It is a Casio G-Shock Riseman. It's not some bright neon G-shock (I'm not cool enough to pull that off, maybe one day) but I figure it has so many tools on it I has to be cool. It tells me the temperature, altitude, world time (yes it is set on Sydney Australia), and Barometric pressure.

Now i just have to figure out what the hell is barometric pressure.

What is the purpose of this?

Hi my name is Roland

I was born and raised a Californian, and I am about to move to the other side of the planet.

I started this blog to share my experiences, my likes & dislikes, my discoveries, and just stuff I find.
So yes it is a expat blog, but with more content. If I find I will share it. The title of this blog is called "17 hours into future" which is the time difference between Melbourne, Australia and Los Angeles, California ( I am fully aware it changes for DST)

So welcome. I hope to keep this blog updated as often as I can.

Thanks
Roland
